The next step in human-centric augmentation technologies to transform Europe's manufacturing industries
About us
Modern manufacturing is under pressure. Factories are expected to produce more, adapt faster and operate with greater precision — all while managing increasingly complex systems, tighter margins and growing demands for flexibility. This is the challenge we set out to address.
Our manifesto
As industrial work becomes more complex, the role of people on the shopfloor should not be reduced to adapting to machines. Technology should adapt as well: to the worker’s body, to changing conditions, and to the demands of skilled industrial tasks. By combining neuromuscular sensing with human-centred AI, EnduRAI aims to contribute to a new model of industry where productivity is strengthened by worker wellbeing, and where intelligent manufacturing remains firmly centred on human capability.
IMPROVE
Advanced Wearables Technology
EnduRAI develops industrial grade sEMG (surface electromyography) wearables that feature high density electrodes and edge processing for capturing fine grained neuromuscular signals even under a harsh shop floor environment.
DEVELOP
Multimodal AI Systems
Various sensor data is fused to provide real-time intent prediction, fatigue detection, and ergonomic risk assessment.
DESIGN
Adaptive Human-Machine Interfaces (HMIs)
Personalised support for workers and supervisors, individually and in groups, is made possible by dashboards and haptic feedback systems.
TEST
In Industry Trials
Two challenging applications are simulated: high precision pulley manufacturing and welding in confined space shipbuilding, which showcases lower fatigue-induced error, higher quality, more efficient collaborations among workers and increased worker upskilling.
PROMOTE
Ethical and Regulatory Practices
Social Sciences and Humanities partners integrate inclusivity, ethics and co-design throughout, fully complying with GDPR, EU AI Act and Occupational Safety & Health (OSH) guidelines.
UNLOCK
The Way to Commercialisation
The project will deliver rugged sEMG kits, multimodal AI engines, adaptive HMI stacks and compliance toolkits using a strategy that involves hardware kits, software licensing and professional services.
Making it real
Validated in high-precision pulley manufacturing and confined-space shipbuilding, EnduRAI demonstrates how advanced sensing can help reduce strain, improve consistency, and strengthen human expertise on the shopfloor.
Our mission is to make manufacturing more intelligent without making it less human.
Our team
EnduRAI brings together world-class experts and know-how in wearable biosensing, AI-driven augmentation, manufacturing and SSH, building up a unique team to deliver human-centric innovations for Industry 5.0.
